In rating of 2009 in total 47 insurance companies participated, which in 2008 received near 9 billion UAH of gross premiums, and in first half of 2009 - 3.5 billion UAH. Traditionally (pi)-rate provides division of all the companies into three groups: A, B and C - the highest, good and acceptable accordingly. In the group of the most reliable companies are the following: Generalli Garant, QBE Ukraine, Lemma, Allianz Ukraine, PZU Ukraine, IC "NOVA", AXA Ukraine, Gorodskaya insurance company, AXA Insurance, ASKA, Ukrainian joint-stock insurance company, VSK Insurance Group, Universalnaya, Insurance Group "TAS", NASTA, Crimea insurance company, IC Busin and others.
To the opinion of Vladimir Duhnenko, Director of Rating agency "Expert-Rating": "IC "NOVA" has improved its position in the rating essentially: currently 88% of its liabilities are covered with quick assets. Also IC "NOVA" has ended the first half of year with net profit 1.6 million UAH."
