OJSC "Insurance Company "NOVA" is a legal successor of CJSC "Fuel and Energy Insurance Company"
2000-2003 - 30 november 2000 it was founded CJSC "Fuel and Energy Insurance Company" specialized at oil and gas enterprises insurance. Specially developed comprehensive insurance programs cover the insurance of special risks connected with extraction, processing, transportation and storage of oil and gas, as well as risks of a third party liability and corporate personal insurance
In 2004, new shareholders and new management team came, further aims and tasks were set, the development strategy up to 2009 was approved: to form a versatile member of the insurance market working both with private and corporate clients. Olga Zaytseva was appointed as a Chairman of the Board. Igor Artsymovych was appointed as a Supervisory Board Chairman. Motor insurance, property insurance, voluntary medical insurance were at the foreground.
On May, 17, 2005, CSJC "Fuel and Energy Insurance Company" became OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA". In 2005 IC "NOVA" completed restructuring, changed the form of ownership and became a competent player of the Ukrainian insurance market.
In 2006-2007, the company increased its authorised capital, became a prize-winner of "Ukrainian Financial Olympus" was among "The Top 100 of Financial Business" of "Economica" Publishing House, got Aaa liability rating from "Expert" Publishing Group (the highest for Ukrainian companies).
2008 Specialists of rating agency "Expert-rating" confirming the highest level of reliability of OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" and appointing it in rating group "A" (group of the highest level of liability).
OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" recurrently reasserted its active position at insurance market and became a prize-winner of "Top 100" of "Economica" Publishing House.
OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" became one of "The Top 10" the best insurance companies of Ukraine in grade of insurance payments.
OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" one of "The Top 10" the best insurance companies of Ukraine in voluntary medical insurance.
OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" was accredited in all embassies of European Union.
OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" became the winner in nomination "Service in carrying out of insurance payments (operability, efficiency, reasonableness)", in limits The Second Ukrainian Contest "Bank and insurance company are reliable partnership" organized by Journal "Banker".
OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" became one of "The Top 25" of the best insurance companies in Ukraine concerning payments according to Ukrainian rating Programm "Gvardia 500".
OJSC "Insurance company "NOVA" became associated member of Ukrainian Union of Lessors.
Shynkarenko O.V. was appointed as a Chairman of the Board.
Zaytseva O.V. was appointed as a Chairman of Supervisory Board.
2009 - IC "NOVA" has the A class rating obtained from the Rating agency "Expert - Rating", that indicates high level of company's stability.
It is in the TOP 30 of Ukrainian insurance companies on the CASCO market, in the TOP 10 of Ukrainian insurance companies on voluntary medical insurance market.
IC "NOVA" is a member of Motor (transport) insurance bureau of Ukraine, American Chamber of Commerce, Ukrainian Association of Lessors, Building insurance pool, Nuclear insurance pool of Ukraine.
IC "NOVA" became a winner of independent research: "Choice of budget corporation policy for voluntary medical insurance".
